Sustainably sourced mango wood* is etched by hand with varied geometric designs, then whitewashed to highlight these patterns. Wood is lightly burned for contrast, then sanded to a smooth finish. *This product is made with farmed mango wood that comes exclusively from managed plantations. As mango trees age, they stop bearing fruit altogether and only then are harvested for their wood. Before reaching this stage, however, new trees are always planted; thus continuing a sustainable cycle ensuring no harm to the natural environment.
