Shop for Mom and Support M.I.R.A.'s Work in STL

I am an immigrant business owner who has called St. Louis home the last eighteen years. I owe much to this community for welcoming me and for allowing me to thrive, both personally and professionally. I am delighted to pay it forward by supporting MIRA's ongoing efforts in being the voice of immigrants and refugees who want to make St. Louis their home, won't you join us?

Zee Bee Market donates to Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates

Our plan is quite simple: You Shop, We Donate!

  • WHAT: Shop Fair Trade for Mom at our store located at 3211 South Grand Blvd., St. Louis, 63118
  • WHEN: Tuesday, May 3 to Friday, May 6 (11AM - 8PM)
  • RESULT: we will donate 15% of all in-store and online sales to Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates!

Missouri Immigrant and Refugee Advocates (MIRA) is a coalition of organizations that recognizes the intrinsic value of all people.  MIRA supports measures in the state of Missouri that create a welcoming climate for immigrants and refugees, and that allow for immigrants and refugees to become fully productive members of our society.

As the premiere immigration public interest group in Missouri, MIRA has established a presence in Jefferson City and throughout the state. With continued growth, MIRA remains committed to strengthening immigrant and refugee communities through education, advocacy, and effective coalition building.

Current projects include:

Immigrant Service Provider Network. A committed group of local agencies that aims to support the foreign born and their families by coordinating efforts to increase the capacity of community resources, advocate for inclusive policy and services, and educate residents and providers in the St Louis region.

Cultural Programing. MIRA develops arts and cultural opportunities across the state that highlight the influence, history and future immigrants and refugees have within our region. The annual Saint Louis art exhibit will feature mothers and their children this coming November...watch for dates and times!

Don't miss the opportunity to meet some of MIRA's Staff and Volunteers on Tuesday, May 3 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at our store located at 3211 South Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63118.

When you choose ethically made gifts for Mom, you will also be supporting Mothers around the world who made them with love, it's a Win-Win!

If shopping is not in your plans the week before Mother's Day, please consider supporting MIRA, by making a donation. Thanks!
