Each heart is hand-carved from soft kisii soapstone, then etched with inspiring words. Expect slight color differences from ones in photos as artisans hand-dye with bright, non-toxic dyes not produced by machines.

Soapstone is mined from great pits in the area surrounding Kiisi, Kenya. The mined soapstone is then delivered to carvers who carve sculptures from the natural stone.
