For thousands of years, the wood, resin, and oil have been used for medicinal purposes. It’s mainly used to treat pain and stress. It’s also said to clear negative energy, although there isn’t a lot of scientific proof behind these benefits. Additionally, palo santo is widely used to repel mosquitos. It’s also said to deter ants, termites, and flies.

Dry clean is also recommended.
• STORAGE: If you need to put your alpaca garments away during warmer months, give it a good clean first following the instructions above. Use lavender bundles (the chemical moth balls will do as well) to keep moths away.
