*Hogla or Southern cattail (Typha domingensis, family: Typhaceae) is an aquatic tall grass growing in cluster, attaining a height of 3 meters. Stem is simple or terete. It grows abundantly in Bangladesh and is used as a material for baskets, cushions and placemats. Hogla grass can cause problems near the shores as it can overgrow whole harbors, rivers and ponds.
With every product you purchase, you are helping provide employment, educational opportunities and medical care to artisans in Bangladesh.
