This beautiful drum from Java is comprised of a hand batiked goat skin head with a mango wood* frame. Batik method printing with fantastic detail around the Tree of Life. Even though these drums are traditionally played by hand, it includes a drum stick as well as playing instructions. It sounds as good as it looks!

- Dimensions: 9-inch head X 3-inch frame; drum stick is 7 inches long
*This product is made with farmed mango wood that comes exclusively from managed plantations. As mango trees age, they stop bearing fruit altogether and only then are harvested for their wood. Before reaching this stage, however, new trees are always planted; thus continuing a sustainable cycle ensuring no harm to the natural environment.
