In a small workshop in Antigua, Guatemala, four brothers who make up the artisan community of El Tun have been working for over 25 years to preserve a weaving method passed down through generations by creating handmade textiles using a treadle foot loom. The name ‘El Tun,’ after a Guatemalan drum, was inspired by the rhythmic beating of the loom while they work. Great Towels

These are awesome. Got one as a gift for xmas and the look fantastic, are very absorbent and get nice and soft after washing. Want to get some more.

Not Just a Kitchen Towell

When my daughter got married I started a new tradition of creating a family Easter basket for her, my son-in-law & granddaughter. I start with a useful "basket" whether a pretty bowl or bread basket, etc., and instead of that messy fake grass, I line it with a pretty springtime-inspired kitchen towel then fill it with fun gadgets, small toys and yummy treats. Beautiful and Useful!

I have bought several of these beautiful kitchen towels. The colors are gorgeous. The towels should be washed several times before the first use. The more often they are used/washed the more absorbent they get. I love them and they are a beautiful addition in my kitchen!
