Hand-painted Guatemalan Coffee Mug

While in the Lake Atitlan area a few years ago, I saw several of these mugs and I was afraid that if I bought one, it might not make the trip back home without breaking. I have second guessed myself ever since. I was very happy to find this mug online and to find that ZeeBee is in St Louis. It was like finding the Holy Grail! It’s beautiful and the quality is outstanding. The store has so many great items and it was very nice to meet and talk to Julio. We will be back!

My family went to Guatemala 2 summers ago and my 9 year old son picked out a gorgeous hand painted clay mug at the market in Antigua. Unfortunately, last week, he bumped his mug off the counter and it broke on the floor. He was DEVASTATED. I let him know that we could search the internet and try to find a similar one - and what do you know! This mug was a great match!! He was so thrilled to get it. It is beautifully shaped, gorgeous color, and it saved the day! Thanks!
