It is believed that if you hang one of these totas by a door or a window, it will bring good luck into your home. These bird totas are handcrafted with patches from different fabric, beads, sequins and multicolored threads by women artisans in Northern India. Each string features 30 colorful birds and a brass bell.

Zee Bee ships out joy

Gray days, I'll click Zee Bee to remind myself that humans are every day inventing and creating crazy fun and beauty. And I visit Zee Bee when I want back the part of me that is a true human, not a busy consumer. (Then I buy myself a treat(s)!!) When I buy for friends, Zee Bee's "About Us" card that says "handmade, fair trade, sustainable" tells them they can just relax and enjoy.

This evening, I put a Zee Bee "Tota Garland" on my neighbor's door, and I knew she was home from work when I heard her scream in delight. I told her to calm down, so she started jumping up and down. (lol) It is a beautiful and authentic version of that tradition. Zee Bee ships out joy.

I ordered a string of these colorful birds for my daughter for her birthday and she AND her sister loved them. So I'm ordering another string of little colorful birds for my other daughter. Hoping they will bring good luck and prosperity to every home they hang in.
