These fun thumb pianos are created around a hollow coconut shell and a wood top with hand-painted musical notes. The piano, aka kalimba, is held with both hands, and the metal "keys" are plucked to create unique sounds. It's an ideal musical instrument for children to start their music journey.

These rustic mbiras are created around a hollow wooden box with traditional burned designs. The box is held with both hands, and the recycled metal tines fitted with tin can buzzers are plucked to create an unmistakable African sound.

Cactus plant parts and small stones make "rain." This rainstick has all the interesting aspects of larger models, including the needles which are pounded through the shell and then clipped. The stones bounce off the needles to make the rain sound.
