Our artisans use hand tools to skillfully carve blocks of sustainably harvested mango wood* into unique pivot boxes inspired by traditional antique Indian spice boxes. This one features an elephant design and white rub finish on the lid. The lid pivots open to reveal an open storage compartment jewelry storage. Expect slight carved variations as it is a handcrafted item.

*This product is made with farmed mango wood that comes exclusively from managed plantations. As mango trees age, they stop bearing fruit altogether and only then are harvested for their wood. Before reaching this stage, however, new trees are always planted; thus continuing a sustainable cycle ensuring no harm to the natural environment.
