This large tote has leather handles and extended sides which are perfect for shopping. Each basket has unique colors and patterns. There is only 1 of these, and this is the basket you will receive.

  • Dimensions: 18.5" L x 12" W x 14.5" H (does not include the handles)

These baskets are made from river grass, known as "elephant grass" by local weavers in Bolgatanga, Ghana. Baskets with leather handles are wrapped in goat skin for comfort and durability. The leather is naturally tanned using local seeds.

With every basket you purchase, you are helping provide employment, educational opportunities and medical care to artisans in Ghana.

More Impressive in Person!

Bought this as a treat for myself and absolutely love it. I've been using it, and it is a great size and weight. Colors are stunning and intricate workmanship is remarkable! I love it!

Also need to mention how wonderful the owner and staff are at this market!
