* Tagua nuts are the seeds from the fruits of the Phytelephas Aequatorialis palm tree, meaning literally: elephant plant from the Equatorial Region of the Amazon Rainforest. It is known as the new "Green Ivory" Eco-Fashion, a biodegradable, renewable, and sustainable resource. These bracelets are made from tagua nuts collected after they fall to the ground, so the palm trees are not harmed. The value of tagua nut for craft production encourages the preservation of rainforests. Acai (ah-sigh-EE) berries are a grape-like fruit native to the rainforests of South America. They are harvested from acai palm trees.
