In a small workshop in Antigua, Guatemala, four brothers who make up the artisan community of El Tun have been working for over 25 years to preserve a weaving method passed down through generations by creating handmade textiles using a treadle foot loom. The name ‘El Tun,’ after a Guatemalan drum, was inspired by the rhythmic beating of the loom while they work.
